Larson Tax Team Attains National Accountancy Accreditation!
Michelle Larson, Jennifer McIntosh, Karlan Crawford and Julie Twenter of Larson Accounting have successfully completed the requirements for the nationally recognized Elder Care Specialist (ECS) designation sponsored by the Accreditation for Accountancy and Taxation.
ACAT’s Elder Care Specialist program recognizes practitioners who have a thorough knowledge of preparing their clients for retirement and the essentials of estate and trust planning.
Candidates must complete the 36 hours of Continuing Professional Education in elder care issues, pass a final exam, and have a minimum of three years of work-related experience to earn the credential. The ECS credential establishes a uniform measure of proficiency clients can use in selecting a tax and financial services professional skilled in dealing with elder care issues.
ACAT is affiliated with the National Society of Accountants, NSA, and both organizations are based in Alexandria, Virginia. For more information on ACAT and its accounting credential, contact the organization at 888.289.7763 or info@acatcredentials.org.
